I'm a Graphic Communication graduate from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. I LOVE what I do and I can't wait to see where life takes me. I try to approach things with a positive attitude and always believe the best in people. I value respect, passion, compassion, forgiveness, encouragement, hard work, professionalism, and optimism.
A "California Girl" at heart, I LOVE to travel, especially since I spent eight years growing up overseas. I LOVE the sun, ethnic food, theater, jet-skiing and snowboarding.
Why I do what I do...
It has always been my dream of owning my own photography and design business. I first got into photography after I took a computer science class in 9th grade. I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop and I’ve been in love ever since. Throughout high school and college, I styled my friends in funky clothes (the crazier the clothes, the better) and photographed them in any location I could. We went to a beach, a park, a field, all over my house and backyard. We loved getting crazy and we were always so amazed at how much we loved the pictures. I went to work editing them (sometimes for hours) and we’d try to plan a photo-shoot every time I was in town. What started out as fun has inspired me to turn what I love to do into a business. After a lot of freelance projects for friends and family, I decided to put myself out there and help other people with their photography and design needs. It’s a win-win situation: You get what you need, the way you want it in a stress-free environment and I get to be creative!
I relate to the verse Exodus 31:3-4, which states:
"I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make artistic designs..." I feel that
my work is a gift and I only hope to serve others through it and that it brings glory to God.
