I LOVE what I do and I cant wait to see where life takes me. I approach things with a positive attitude and always believe the best in people. I value respect, passion, compassion, forgiveness, encouragement, hard work, professionalism, and optimism. A "California Girl" at heart, I LOVE to travel, especially since I spent eight years growing up overseas. in South East Asia. I LOVE the sun, ethnic food, musical theater, jet-skiing and snowboarding.

A Little Deeper
I am a follower and lover of Jesus Christ. He is my inspiration, my hope, my business manager, and my friend. I would not be where I am or who I am without Him. He continues to bless and surprise me with new adventures. He has provided so so much and I can't begin to explain my unworthiness.

I love weddings...
I'm sure if you ask anyone, they'll tell you I CONSTANTLY talk about weddings. How can you not be in love with love? I get to connect with these amazing people and be a part of one of the biggest days of their lives. Being in the presence of a bride & groom on their wedding day is SO powerful. Seeing my clients light up in front of each other and the camera is so much fun. I love how excited they get when I show them a preview on my camera. If I sense that a bride is starting to tense up with wedding day stress, I give her a quick look to calm her down - It's amazing to see the tension instantly melt into true joy. The love, excitement and anticipation is different and unique every time. I cry at each wedding - always at a different part.

History of JMPR
I started out retouching images in Photoshop for fun when I started to critique the images I was editing. I wanted to create my own images to edit and explore the creation side and not just the post production. And from there my love of photography grew. I would get my friends together and stick them in funky clothes, run out to a field and take crazy pictures as if I worked for a fashion magazine. My first opportunity to shoot a wedding came my senior year in college. I had such a blast using my creativity, socialness (thats a word right?), organization and planning skills all for one client. I had found my dream job! Since then I have interned with Teale Photography, second shot for many other photographers and continued to book clients and build my business.
